A young Filipino friend said the Philippines is more convenient than Japan. He said this because you can get a tricycle anywhere, anytime, and move around the city, so you don't have to wait for the subway or walk between trains. The more I ride in tricycles, the more I think he's right, and I can't help but smile. You can get anywhere and move around the city for 100 yen, but they've banned them in Manila because of the air pollution.
